its so typical of the the "white people." wait for something to happen first and then react like u give a shit. how many more times are we gonna condone this? how many hawker centers in dis country are infected with complacent hygiene standards? and who is supposed to monitor these hawkers? how often do the health inspectors conduct their checks? they share a big part of the blame for what has happened! wat, u get big paychecks to come out and say ure disappointed and that this is unacceptable? surprise, surprise! u mean the people in this country already didnt know dat? govt monitoring and the standards of gd governance is seriously dwindling in a country that at every opportunity, prides itself on being world class! maybe gd standards of service are only reserved for F1 formula events or YoG! day-to-day service standards and the monitoring of such standards are only applicable when such incidents as the current one, erupts in your face. and you always respond like u do, "we will ensure that..." and suddenly a familiar campaign to improve hygiene standards floods the country and then the next day dies down. then this is followed by the all-too-familiar rotten smell of more slacking from "white people"...great job! use tax payers money to build these hawker centers, demolish them, upgrade them but you can't even do a proper quality control. we've been around for 40 over years rite? so stop saying we are clean and green. stop spreading the facade that we are world class and efficient when we are not! seriously! face up to the reality that one day, there will be people to question you and they sure won't wait for a scandal while you rest on your laurels of so-called gd administration. the real scandal is not the rojak, its a "poison" more treacherous and threatening. i pity those people affected by this...
